Dashboard Management
The Greppilot agent can build and manage your entire dashboard through natural conversation. Instead of dragging widgets around a UI, you describe what you want and the agent handles the rest.
Creating dashboards
Ask the agent to create a new dashboard or duplicate an existing one:
- "Create a new dashboard called Q1 Sales Overview"
- "Clone my Operations dashboard and rename it to Q2 Operations"
Adding charts and visualizations
Once your data sources are connected, ask for any chart type — bar, line, area, pie, KPI card, table, or diagram:
- "Show me monthly revenue as a bar chart"
- "Add a KPI card for total active users"
- "Create a line chart comparing signups vs churns over the last 6 months"
The agent writes the query, fetches the data, and places the chart on your dashboard automatically.
Structuring your layout
You can add content blocks to organize your dashboard into clear sections:
- "Add a section header called 'Revenue Metrics' above the revenue charts"
- "Put a divider between the sales and support sections"
- "Add a callout noting that Q3 data is preliminary"
Available content blocks include section headers, rich text, dividers, callouts, spacers, and metric highlights.
Rearranging and resizing
The agent can reorganize your entire layout in one step:
- "Make the revenue chart full-width"
- "Rearrange the dashboard so KPIs are at the top and tables are at the bottom"
- "Move the churn chart to my Operations dashboard"
Styling
Customize the look of individual components or apply a theme across an entire dashboard:
- "Change the background color of the revenue chart to dark blue"
- "Apply the 'Ocean' color theme to this dashboard"
- "Set my default chart theme to 'Sunset'"
Working across dashboards
The agent can search, copy, and move components between dashboards:
- "Find all charts that mention 'revenue' across my dashboards"
- "Duplicate the MRR chart and add it to the Executive Summary dashboard"
- "Switch to my Support Metrics dashboard"
You can ask the agent to describe your current dashboard layout at any time. This is useful when you want to reference specific charts by name for updates or rearrangement.
